This has popped up a few times over on the 650B list and iBob. Going from memory this AM, general consensus was that the canti issue was problematic, and you tended to end up with a little less clearance from the taller wheelset. A quick search attempt: http://search.bikelist.org/?SearchString=26%22%20to%20650b%20conversion Specific to your question, not any canti, probably few V-brakes. BMX-style brakes have enough adjustment.
