thanks for all the effort updating and maintaining my favorite window
manager :)
I was very happy to see work on XRandR support, since my main usage of
ratpoison is on laptops where up until I've had to switch to a
secondary WM to use external monitors (rigidly configuring such setups
in xorg.conf is not practical).
Not sure I'm doing everything right, but the lastest XRandR support does
not seem to work on my setup. I've tested it multiple ways
* Starting ratpoison with only the internal monitor, then plugging in
the external screen and configuring it with
xrandr --output VGA1 --mode 1280x1024
xrandr --output VGA1 --right-of LVDS1
and restarting ratpoison with the `restart` command.
* Starting ratpoison with both monitors attached
Both methods result in both monitors treated as one big screen, with
the second method having fail-safe resolutions configured on the
displays (AFAIK the minimum resolution supported by both displays
is chosen).
I'm appending some information, please tell me if I should try anything
else, forgot to do something or should provide additional information.
