GPL is not the best-suited license for images or other kinds of artwork. It was
designed for software. A similar situation is that CC-BY is inappropriate for
data, like when OSM switched to ODbL.
In many open-source projects, code is licensed under one license, documentation
under another, and artwork under another.
Can the license for these files be changed to something more suitable for
artwork and derivatives?
