It does not seem to be controvercial to state that we would like more middle schoolers using Racket; indeed, this appears to be the goal of Racket 2. If we extend that logic, there is no reason we cannot wish for aiming for that level of success for other groups. I agree that programming should be absolutely for everyone, that is part of what brought me to Racket and I think it is uniquely positioned to meet that goal.
