From the many responses, it looks like Dr Racket is more popular than I thought. I'm a long-time Emacs user, and although I have tried Dr Racket, Emacs is now part of my bones. (I'm excited to learn that there is a Racket mode...and hope it is as good as geiser).
If you know and love Geiser, then there's nothing else you need: Geisers supports both Guile and Racket, and does so very well.
I can't claim much Racket experience, as I am just doing my first steps, but I can confirm that Racket + Geiser makes for an excellent environment. Geiser even inlines images that are the results of expressions, just like DrRacket does. In particular, that makes working with the plot package a real pleasure.
