Perhaps I should have said. I'm well aware PAUP* 4.0b10 can calculate MAST for _small_ trees but it refuses to even try for moderate to large trees. Unless this has changed in the new PAUP I assume it's still a limitation?
``` paup> treedist metric=agreement; Error(#647): Trees must have maximal degree less than or equal to 32 in this implementation of the agreement-subtree metric algorithm. ``` On 21 December 2015 at 16:11, Mark Holder <mthol...@gmail.com> wrote: > Hi, > PAUP* calculates maximum agreement trees. > cheers, > Mark > > On Mon, Dec 21, 2015 at 9:42 AM, Ross Mounce <ross.mou...@gmail.com> wrote: >> I'd like to compute a maximum agreement subtree (MAST) from two large >> (2269 taxa) unrooted, non-binary trees, each of identical taxa.
