HI, New to the list but have been using qpsmtpd for about a year and it has really been great at getting SPAM under control.
Issue, two large email sources for us, apple.com (mac.com) and bellnexxia.net ( Bell Canada / Sympatico ) are now being rejected by check_earlytalker. It appears that have both of these over the last month started rolling out new outbound smtp servers, so it wasn't fully apparent until the last week ( probably rolled the new version out to all thier outbound MTAs). I definitely do not want to turn off check_earlytalker since it rejects about 30,000 connections a day for me. I've tried sending email to the support teams at both to tell them of the issue but of course that fell into a black hole most likely. Reason for this email was to possibly alert others to the issue before it bites you when someone screams at you that they're not getting important email. And secondly to see what thoughts anyone has on a solution or work around. I've thought of implienting dns_whitelist_soft but these guys have a lot of servers and how do you go about making sure you get them all? Mike
