make setup check error?

In yet another attempt to get a clean install of qmail, I'm getting the following
warnings when running make setup check:

qmail-local: warning: return type of `main' is not `int'

The same warning appears for qmail-inject, qmail-queue, etc, etc. It appears about a
dozen times, it seems.
What's the problem? And is it in fact a problem?
