Qmail-Scanner 2.07 has been released.
It contains support for AVAST! for Unix and support for new version of
NOD32.
Besides a few minor changes, the biggest change is in SpamAssassin
support. From now on Qmail-Scanner will treat SpamAssassin (spamd)
identically to AV products: namely if Qmail-Scanner is detecting that
spamd is generating errors, it will "tempfail" the message instead of
allowing it through. i.e. no more "SA:0(?/?)" any more. This can be
reset back if you wish (see CHANGES) - but these days most sites see
spam reaching their Inbox as a total failure - so Qmail-Scanner now
tries to reflect that too.
As always, the latest version of Qmail-Scanner is available via our
friends at Sourceforge - http://qmail-scanner.sf.net/
