I've checked qmail-queue.log already but there is absolutely no mention
of SA being called in the logs at all. It is as if qmail-scanner simply
doesn't notice SpamAssassin is there at all, or it's not calling it or
something. I'm not seeing any SA error messages either. Absolutely nothing.

I tested out my spamd configuration by piping a test message through
spamc -c and checking the output - and it worked. So I have to assume
that my spamd is functioning as normal.

What MAY be happening is that qmail-scanner is not calling SA because it
thinks the mail is local. I set my smtp rules to "all:allow"
and forced QMAILQUEUE and RELAYCLIENT in the smtpd start script. Still
nothing.

Now I'm curious.... what username does qmail-scanner use to access SA? I
tested "spamc -c -u qscand" and that seemed to work. Does it require a
special user to work?

This sucks.... this should totally work and it's not.
