Hello,
I have a system with qmail-scanner, clamav and
spamassassin.
SA is configured to do alot of tests, which may
cause long scanning times -
qmail scanner reports "all finished" in up to
10 seconds (mostly alot less) in normal situations.
when the server is loaded we get scanning times of
20-30 seconds. (is that normal???)
My main problem is that when the server is
loaded (load average 2 to 10)
incoming messages are recieved twice, or even 3-4 times.
My theory is that the scanning takes so long, the
remote server gives up and tries again.
Am I right? any suggestions?
