Directories were present, and permissions were set correctly. Tried chmod -R 777 as well.
Would you recommend me performing the Scanner install from the QMail Scanner site versus QMail Rocks?
Next attempt is this evening. Waxed the drive, installed Fedora Core 3 with no firewall and disabled SELinux upon install. Flawless install of QMail Rocks so far, and we are sending and receiving normally now. We will see if it last!
It seems that your
system doesn't allow suid scripts.... So qmail-scanner (the user that
runs it) cannot write in the directory, I suppose that even tha
qmail-queue.log cannot be write.
There is a lot of
people using the qmailrocks installation, so I can asume that it
works. I always use RedHat based distributions and suidperl works in
them...
