finally i got qmail-scanner running. the howto on the gentoo site was not really the best one but after 1 night with lots of coffe i am proud to say i ve qmail-scanner running :).
but i need i configuration like this one:
- spammail comes to the server detected by spamassassin moved to each users maildir folder "spammail"
- clamav deletes the attached virus writes that in this mail was i virus back to the sender and displays in the normal users inbox the mail without the virus
at the moment spamassassin is a part of vpopmail and writes in the subject ***SPAM***. i tried to conf qmail-scanner-queue.pl like this what i want, but even the spamassassin thing wasnt running so i switched back to the vpopmail thing. clamav is working but he delets the hole message and the user doesent gets anything and i dont know what he is doing really with the mail. does he deletes the mail? does he quarantine it somewhere? does he sends a mail back to the sender? where r all these logs files to check it.
hope someone has the time to answer my question. if someone is here in the list trying to get qmail-scanner working under gentoo perhaps my self written howto can help:
