Hi,

What exactly does decide the ownership of files extracted from mails ?? I
have a problem with qmail-scanner 1.24st where the log says:

@4000000041a1add12d32a014
X-Qmail-Scanner-1.24st:[legolas.pitweb.dk1101114819680815] owner of unpacked
file "/var/spool/qmailscan/tmp/legolas.pitweb.dk1101114819680815/ride.mpeg"
(uid=0) doesn't match UID of Qmail-Scanner (uid=88) - can't expect this to
work. Fix whatever is creating files with uid=0

The contents of the dir is:

-rw------- 1 qscand vchkpw 695 Nov 22 10:13
1101114821.854-0.legolas.pitweb.dk
-rw------- 1 qscand vchkpw 2527257 Nov 22 10:13
1101114821.854-1.legolas.pitweb.dk
-rw------- 2 qscand vchkpw 3416203 Nov 22 10:13
orig-legolas.pitweb.dk1101114819680815
-rw------- 1 root qmail 2521092 Nov 22 10:13 ride.mpeg

My qmail-scanner-queue.pl:

-rwsr-xr-x 1 qscand qscand 121327 Nov 20 13:01
/var/qmail/bin/qmail-scanner-queue.pl

And reformime:

-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 48504 Jul 21 15:26 /usr/bin/reformime

Any good idea to what could be causing this ??

/Brian
