Here's some more information:

Wed, 27 Oct 2004 08:00:29 PDT:67308: clamdscan: starting scan of
directory "/usr
/local/qmailscan/tmp/arthur.silvertree.org109888922950667308"...
Wed, 27 Oct 2004 08:00:29 PDT:67308: run /usr/local/bin/clamdscan
- --no-summary
/usr/local/qmailscan/tmp/arthur.silvertree.org109888922950667308 2>&1
Wed, 27 Oct 2004 08:00:29 PDT:67308: --output of clamdscan was:
/usr/local/qmailscan/tmp/arthur.silvertree.org109888922950667308: Access
denied.
~ ERROR
/usr/local/qmailscan/tmp/arthur.silvertree.org109888922950667308: OK

So I did a setuid root for /usr/local/bin/clamdscan and it still fails in qmail-scanner, but I can run it manually and it's just fine.

So, I tried chowning the director to clamav:qscand but then
qmail-scanner choked completely. So, I'm kinda at a loss here on how to
set this up.
