Hello, Just installed Qmail, etc based on Nasim Mansurov's Install guide: http://megaz.arbuz.com/archives/2002/12/20/qmail-howto/1/ (Qmail+Vmailmgr+Tcpserver+RBL+SpamAssassin+Relay-CTRL +Qmail-Scanner+Courier IMAP Guide+POP3S+SMTP)
Everything appears to be running fine except for 1 thing: It looks like inbound messages are getting hung up in the queue, and eventually they stack up enought to crash the box (out of memory) right around: tcpserver: status: 116/200 and in my messages (/var/log), kernel: Out of Memory: Killed process 27930 (sweep). begins to multiply. I poked around a bit and it looks like this is a Sophos problem. I went ahead and updated my Sophos to newest: System time 02:41:10 PM, System date 01 October 2004 Product version : 3.86.0 Engine version : 2.24.3 Virus data version : 3.86 User interface version : 2.07.071 Platform : Linux/Intel Released : 04 October 2004 Total viruses (with IDEs) : 95151 But still have the same problem. For now, I have Sophos (wrapped with Sophie) disabled in my qmail-scanner-queue.pl, and everything seems to work fine. I realize that this might be better off posted at Sophos, but has anyone else here found a workaround?
