Surely qmail-scanner stops an email from being delivered if SpamAssassin detects the email as SPAM - like it blocks an email if a virus scanner detects that the email contains a virus ?
Nope, it doesn't. SA is only used for tagging. See FAQ #14 at http://qmail-scanner.sourceforge.net/FAQ.php
