I've got qmail-scanner-1.21 installed on a server. All appears to be
working well except that I noticed the following message in my

Clear:RC:0(222.65.85.129):SA:1(5.3/5.0): 5.540408 1352
This looks like the message was tagged as spam by SA (i.e a header
was added to the message headers), but that the message didn't match
any of the QS rules, and wasn't detected as a virus by the virus
scanners.
For some reason this message which was detected as SPAM still got
through qmail-scanner. It's almost like it ignored the 5.3 score SA
found ?
Thanks - any assistance is greatly appreciated.
Not sure what you mean, but the spam detection and virus quarantining
are 2 distinct operations. Any mail detected as spam by SA, but not
detected as a virus, will still be delivered normally. It is then up
to you to delete it or move it automatically to a different folder,
for example using procmail on the server-side, or filter rules in
your mail client.
