In rcpthosts I have all the domain that I receive e-mail and then
forward to the final server (similar to smtproute)
example:
cospac.com.ar
fenixar.com.ar
etc.
If I remove a domain from rcpthosts give me error like:
Remote host said: 553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed
rcpthosts (#5.7.1)
That's fine, so you are not an open relay.
Maybe the test that ordb runs doesn't like qmail. Search qmail.org
there must be a patch from Russel Nelson for problems about this.
I dont believe this to be true. ordb.org was actually the only open relay
tester that i have found that was designed for systems that worked the way
qmail does. It does not automatically spit out a "you are an open relay"
message just because the message was initially accepted. It waits to see if
the message was received before stating the status of the relay.
I could be wrong, but doesnt
I had wrote in tpc.smtp:
:allow,QMAILQUEUE="/var/qmail/bin/qmail-scanner-queue.pl"
allow ANYONE to relay through you? Shouldnt there be an ip before the :allow?
Isnt it exactly this which is causing you to be an open relay?
