I am using the badrcptto patch on the qmail server at work. It does an excellent job of reducing the load on the server after we change the email address of people that receive large amounts of spam.

you just need to take your existing qmail source directory and apply this patch to it, re-compile, and install. If you don't have the source anymore, you will need to apply this patch (along with qmailqueue patch), compile, and install.
