No, it _does_ happen. It's "legal". Basically, my script looks for a match
between the addresses/domains in the badsenders file, and the envelope
sender and header from addresses. I'm pretty sure my script doesn't allow
for listing blank addresses in the badsenders file, but I'm not 100% sure
since I've never tried it.

However, if you have populated your badsenders file with normal email
addresses or domains, they won't match an empty envelope sender address
or an empty header from address.

Basically, my script was designed to compliment an industrial strength
spam filtering program like TMDA. TMDA will reliably block bogus messages
with an empty envelope sender for you. For more info about TMDA, look here:
