delete em, i use a crontab to delete them.. they are not in queue.
$ cat /etc/cron.d/qmailscan
# clean up the virus quarantine for any viruses older than 7 days
0 22 * * * root /usr/local/doublecheck/bin/clean_quarantine.sh 2>&1
>/dev/null
here is the script.

# clean_quarantine.sh
