Hi All,
I'm setting up a new email server for the company, and webhosting clients with
virus scanning and
anti-spam support; however, I'm having one heck of a time trying to get qmail-scanner
working correctly. I
had it working correctly for a while, but I had to upgrade perl to get Spam Assassin
working correctly.
Well, as soon as I upgraded perl I managed to blow up qmail-scanner. Now whenever I
send a message I get
"451 qq temporary problem (#4.3.0)". I know my problem lies in perl and suid support.
I've tried everything
in the qmail-scanner FAQ and still cannot get it to work. When I run "setuidgid qmaild
/var/qmail/bin/qmail-scanner-queue.pl -g" the output is as follows:
perlscanner: generate new DB file
ERROR: incorrect format on line 82 - skipped
perlscanner: total of 9 entries.
I've also installed all the neccesary modules too (Hi::Res,DB_File, etc). I'm using
Perl version 5.6.1. It
used to work with perl 5.003 but I removed it and now when I try to reinstall it I
can't get it to
recompile. I'd GREATLY apperciate anyone that could shed any light on this because I'm
completely stuck,
and the boss is really ready to have this done soon as I've been working on it for 2
weeks now. Thanks
