One other bit...it also allows for a "whitelist" of addresses that will
still be scanned, but their mail will be delivered to them normally. I
ended up compromising in this section, though. The message will go to the
whitelisted recipient AND the spambox recipient. In the case of more then
one whitelisted recipient the message would only go to the applicable
recipient, if I recall what I did correctly.

It's been in place since August 29th, and tested with SA v2.31 and v2.41.
Only tested with spamc/spamd though. Also, I havent tried it using "spamc
-c", though I suspect it would still work OK (except for the problems
relating to 2.41 and -c..

In my case I have all of the spam sent to a mailbox that I go through
daily and examine each message. I adjust (local) spamassassin rules as
needed for false positives and resend the message to the original
recipient.

One other note: Spam addressed to non-existent accounts WILL NO LONGER
BOUNCE. You'll get all of the spam you never thought you wanted. :)

If anyone has any suggestions for a way to check the
X-Qmail-Scanner-Rcpt-To: header addresses against valid local recipients
in a .qmail file, I'd like to hear....I could use bouncesaying to send
bounces. :)

Also note that, in my case, I block RBL matches pre-queue, and use
badmailpatterns to reject various senders and local
(invalid) recipients. (again, pre-queue.)
