Too true. Qmail-Scanner only invokes SpamAssassin on Email from a non-local
SMTP client - based on the RELAYCLIENT environment variable that
Qmail/tcpserver sets.

I understand your problem. I think the simplest solution would be for
Qmail-Scanner to look for another variable - QS_SPAMASSASSIN perhaps - and
run the SA module if it finds it. Then you can set QS_SPAMASSASSIN within
your tcpserver environment for localhost, and SA will be run when fetchmail
delivers to localhost.

How's that sound?
