Hi.

   Maybe there is a problem with your antivirus. I mean, when I was going to install 
qmail scaner I read something about NAI scanner 
problems with zip files (or something like). Why don't you check out the faq or readme 
about your antivirurs and qmail scanner.
   Other reason (less probable) colud be that qmail or one mail-system component isnt 
loading a shared library, Since you have an ultra I 
gues you have sunOS and this OS has a non flexible ldpath, all libs must be in 
/usr/lib (or something like).
