I am not sure which you are asking, but will provide solutions to each:
The selection colour is by default, yellow opaque. To change your selection
colour, go to Properties/General and change the selection colour there.

To render each of the roads in a unique colour for each, choose the
Catergorised type of styling in the layer's styling tab. Choose the unique
value, such as name or FID.
