It is in my view an aid for users to debug their guest code.
(Sometimes it turns out that the problem is "a QEMU bug resulted
in our doing the wrong thing for a valid guest", but very often
the problem is "the guest code was buggy and QEMU correctly
handled it as it crashed or went into an infinite loop". Being
able to look at logs of what got executed is very handy in
demonstrating this.)
