The issue here is an organizational one: If I touch sparc then it's not suitable for ppc-next tree. If I do escc separately then the two series will conflict. So what I meant was I'll need to get ppc prereqs merged first before I get to escc (we're not under pressure for escc yet). Thanks for the offer, I'll keep it in mind!
