The tap version under Windows requires someones independant patch (see Google) in order to work. I decided not to use the tap patch for Windows because it hasn't made it into a stable release yet. I instead used OpenVPN and bridging on my host and guest so that my guest appears to be on my LAN. Set up your host as your OpenVPN server, your guest as your OpenVPN client, and set up bridging as described in the howto and everything will work smoothly. (see openvpn.net). - -Joseph -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFDwl90mXZROF+EADURAk4rAJ9G8GFdW4UjYVN8ENiSMQZBLt1D+wCghTDX f5ErADRmHtK34bXwAx5HioA= =4Woq -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Qemu-devel mailing list Qemu-devel@nongnu.org http://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/qemu-devel
