Probably if you want to run a distributed SMP-style sytem using QEmu, the most effective approach is going to be running OpenMosix *in* QEmu, on multiple hosts. Sadly, this is much less transparent than QEmu / the host doing the distribution for you :-( but I can probably think of situations where it might be useful...
