There is no (visible) progress with having more recent python versions in the
ports.  The suggested use case of using self-supported virtual environments is
completely valid.  It seems to constructive to block at least some needed uses
on another.

The concern of not working ports' py31{2-...} packages is valid as well, but
can
be worked around by blocking and complaining the setting of the python default
version to anything that cannot be handled by ports ATM.

IMO.
