This is great news. I just built the 1.8.5-2ubuntu1 version in Xenial, which runs the test suite under python3 - i.e. python3.5. Everything passes. Ubuntu is a merge behind Debian's 1.8.7-2 and it looks like we should probably do the merge to pick up the official support for Python 3.5 added in 1.8.6. Thanks everyone! -Barry
