XML Transformations (XSLT) would *certainly* be an overkill here. They've invented a whole new declarative programming language, and we certainly don't need that when we've got Python! :) XML by itself feels completely out of place in this context. What we need is, just a flexible, easy to manipulate, in-memory tree structure (AST) for the Python source. Regards Sreeram
