Indeed it gets harder to distinguish it after a lot of time staring at your source code. I guess the following parts from "Zen of Python" apply to this case: - Beautiful is better than ugly. - Explicit is better than implicit. - Simple is better than complex. - Readability counts. > OTOH, = vs. == always stuck out like > a sore thumb.
