All of my postings contain things I run into.

Missing documentation, python limitations, and other problems.

Algo design considerations etc.

What I need help with is a parser for the file mentioned in the link.

So far it looks bad for python.

I may give the parser frameworks a try to see if they are speedier then 120 chars per second ?! :P :)
