Definitely second the idea of using Qt and C++ to build something. Qt is natively C++, so it's most at home there. Qt works fine in other languages, like Python, but it's not a perfect fit there because Qt is based on the C++ object model. -- https://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/python-list
