python2.7 and python3.3 are availabe in "RedHat Software Collections": https://access.redhat.com/site/documentation/en-US/Red_Hat_Software_Collections/1/html/1.0_Release_Notes/chap-RHSCL.html http://developerblog.redhat.com/2014/02/18/migrate-to-python3-w-rhscl/ So there is at least a chance if you want to (or have to) use "official" packages from the distributor.
