Wonderous, indeed.  Why would anybody ever need more than one case of
the alphabet?  It's almost as absurd as somebody wanting to put funny
little marks on top of their vowels.


True indeed but it gets worse. For example those silly Spanish speaking types consider this ñ a letter in its own right and not a funny little mark on top of a consonant :)
