I think emacs is bundled with OS X and can be started in a terminal window with emacs. If you want a non-terminal editor Aquaemacs (http://aquamacs.org/) is available and easily installed on mac. Cheers Tommy -- http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/python-list
