Upendra Kumar added the comment: I had just one more idea after carefully going through all the options provided by pip. Other than the features suggested by Raymond, we should also provide option for installing using proxy settings.
Sometimes, configuring proxy can also be tricky while downloading. Can this be an additional feature?
