Mark Roseman added the comment: Sounds good. To clarify, (2) refers to not the overall window, but just around the text widget. Both regarding this and the comments regarding status bar (4), things look really good now on Windows. The changes I've made are barely perceptible there, but improve things a bit more on Linux, and way more on Mac.
