Larry Hastings added the comment: Here's a fresh patch. After discussing with Martin at EuroPython, I moved the implementation into Python/getargs.c, and the prototypes into modsupport.h. I'm still using the example of "repeat.new" to show what it looks like and how it works. However I don't plan on checking the changes to repeat.new in when I check in the patch--I'd want to discuss it with Raymond first.
