Also, along the way, I would happy to provide suggestions for more substantive changes (instead of shallow PEP 8 or PyLint changes). The primary defect in the modules is that the code got "adultified" somewhere along the way and needs to migrate back to the sort of straight-forward code that kids can read and model their code after.
