Martin v. Löwis added the comment: BreamoreBoy: Support for this patch comes from several properties of the patch and the way it is stated that make it easy to like it. It is well-researched, well-presented, and clearly can't have negative impact on the systems that *are* supported. This is different from the other thousands of issues which are much more difficult to rule on.
There is, of course, the standing ruling from Guido that we shouldn't let new support for minority platforms in, and phase out any such existing support that is already in the code base.
