Hello Brian! It's been a while I had a look at that code. As far as I remember though the code is fairly decent not taking the missing unit tests into account. There are a few todos, and also a pretty bad bug that I've fixed but not committed. The TODOs include better parsing of auxiliary data, support for scatter-gather, addressed messages. If you wish I can send you the latest patch that has the bug fixed and applies to 3.2. Do you want this to be pushed to 3.3?
