The lead developer of repoze.bfg, Chris McDonough co-authored this PEP for a WSGI-type Python 3 compat. adapter: http://www.python.org/dev/peps/pep-0444/ So when that is approved, and has an implementation (which we'll try and help with as well), we absolutely plan on having a Python 3.x version.
