The more I look at it, the more my point, above, seems moot, and the more my suggested replacement seems no better (or a no-better equivalent, at best).
Still I did feel *something* when I took a look at the page for the first time in a while. I may not be putting my finger as directly on exactly what it is as I had hoped. But there's something there somewhere, even if it's not 100% located in that paragraph that I was targeting, that seems to be doing that explanatory dance when what is actually called for is just straightforward presentation. Hopefully at least some of you see/know what I mean and if my post has any value at all, it's just to jog your mind in that direction. No need to protest over specifics of my previous post since I'm only sketching a general direction and it's not the specifics that really matter.
