Thanks Ben to finally commit your thoughts about proposed logos and
general vision about the soul of the project. I think we should be
careful about the logo because it's a critical aspect of communicating
a first impression to the right audience. And at some point it's not
just a question of logo but a branding one, an implementation of an
identity to every aspect of the project. I personnaly think a
successful design may be produced without special effects, identities
do not need bevels, gradations, 3D and other artificials as core
elements.

The electric theme, as you mentioned, was a way to express what we
thought Pylons was (based on this thread
http://groups.google.com/group/pylons-discuss/browse_thread/thread/ae21a9ca1cddc5bd)
but I think it can start the same here with an egyptian pylon as the
theme.

I think we should start by defining what's the identity of the project
to have basic guidelines available to the design process.
