I'm not entirely sure. After reading over it more, I'm not entirely sure assigning copyright as needed, as that only seems to be an issue should I want to be able to dual license or change the license of the material. If all the docs are under a BSD style license, then it'll be enough to merely include attribution of copyright in the LICENSE file I believe.
